A new designer headphone brand launches in the UK this week. Basel-based Luzil will debut with its unique Roller MK02 design, and a new black finish for its more compact Roller MK01 design.
The Swiss-made headphone maker says it brings a level of craftsmanship to headphone design more commonly associated with luxury watches.
The headphones are conventional passive designs (no Bluetooth here), and feature replaceable cables and earpads. Headbands are machined from pure aluminium and stainless steel, and have a watch-strap style appearance.
The unusual roller design makes them particularly suitable for travelling. Rolled up, the MK01 is an easy fit for overnight bag or briefcase.
The headsets sport custom drivers, 30mm for the MK01 and 40mm for the MK02. Baffles, acoustic chambers, foam earpads and bass ports have all been designed with sonic performance in mind.
The Luzli MK01 comes in a choice of silver or black, and retails from £2,880. The MK02 comes in silver, and is priced at £3,840.
