GROHE will hold its first Blue Home tasting event in the UK at the iconic KitchenAid showroom in Marylebone’s Wigmore Street (Aug 23). The event, in collaboration with famed TV chef Ed Baines, invites the public to sample a collection of mouth-watering ‘mocktails’ and tantalising treats that use sparkling water from GROHE’s Blue Home kitchen tap at the heart of each recipe.

From 11am-6pm, members of the public can experience nature’s purest resource like never before; water transformed into a true indulgence that can enhance any recipe. Ed Baines, who brings culinary expertise from his time as a chef on Britain’s Best Dish and Sunday Feast, has crafted a selection of tasty temptations and exotic ‘mocktails’ including a fruity orange and pineapple fizz and a sweet melon and vanilla refresher exclusively for this exciting, free event. Live cooking demonstrations throughout the day will unearth top tips on how water can transform much-loved British classics such as Yorkshire puddings, and visitors will be able to taste the difference for themselves with a selection of samples on offer to try.

GROHE Blue Tasting Event

Whatever your preference, the award-winning GROHE Blue Home can deliver chilled still, medium and sparkling water straight from the tap providing the perfect aid to a healthy lifestyle for all the family at home. Not only does perfectly filtered, chilled and carbonated water available at the touch of a button encourage us to intake our recommended 2 litres of water a day, it also has a positive impact on both the environment and your pocket! GROHE Blue Home delivers water in an especially sustainable and resource-saving manner. It takes seven whole litres of water, as well as plastic, energy and hefty CO2 emissions to produce just one litre of industrial mineral water.

To produce one litre of GROHE Blue Home water, it takes just that – one litre of water. A study from the University of Göttingen in Germany confirms it: The GROHE Blue Home water system reduces CO2 emissions by more than 60 percent.1

To celebrate the event and the impressive credentials of this brand new product, GROHE will also be giving away one of its Blue Home taps to one lucky visitor on the day, worth over £2000. The tap’s elegant and timeless design can be seamlessly integrated into any kitchen style, needing just a width of 30cm in a kitchen cabinet to house the cooler underneath the sink.

The Blue Home tasting event is a free pop-up at the Kitchen Aid Studio, 98 Wigmore St, London W1U 3RE. The event is open to the public 11am-6pm on Wednesday August 23 only.
