Organisers have confirmed more than 180 brands will exhibit at this September’s Designjunction. Big names booked for the event, a cornerstone of the London Design Festival, include Anglepoise, Jake Dyson, Tom Dixon, Johanson Design, Modus, String, Zanotta, Innermost, Fritz Hansen, Bla Station and Zero. Designjunction, which runs September 17-21, will once again be held at The Sorting Office, 21-23 New Oxford Street London.

There's certainly no shortage of exhibits to peruse this year. The basement floor will feature the lightjunction hub, a large-scale installation from Blackbody created from thousands of suspended O-LEDs which light the way down to the underground space. Here Italian brand Artemide and Jake Dyson’s new Ariel light, a suspension pendant which uses heat sync technology to extend the life of the LED, will be on display. Other exhibitors at lightjunction include Marset, Lightyears, Cini&Nils, Buster + Punch, Davey Lighting and Original BTC, Brokis, Vitamin, ÖRSJÖ and Rothschild & Bickers.

Waterford Crystal is planning to bring two crystal cutting systems to the show, giving visitors live demonstrations of their Master Cutter at work. A ground floor retail zone will feature over 25 designer pop-up shops, selling everything from watches and ceramics to glassware and fashion items.

Designjunction will also offer some unique dining experiences. Transport for London will host a second floor restaurant featuring a wall made from reclaimed vintage bus stops, and bespoke furniture upholstered in the latest TfL fabrics from Kirkby Design. Other diversions will include a café by Italian artisan coffee makers La Marzocco, and a wine bar from the Chilean Embassy. Alessi will run an Italian pop-up café and bar. And you can always end your experience with a visit to the underground Asahi beer bar.
