IMM Cologne 2019 spotlights furniture and kitchen trends

Recently concluded in Cologne, the 2019 IMM (Iinternationale Möbel Messe) exhibition showcased the latest trends in interior design and kitchens. The international, publicly open furniture trade show is held at Koelnmesse exhibition centre every January, and focuses on contemporary furniture and interior design, but also showcases innovative materials and fabrics and the latest architectural lighting design technology.
Co-located with the LivingKitchen event, the show attracted 150,000 visitors, and showed particularly strong growth in trade visitors from the UK.

The seven-day show featured 271 exhibitors from 28 countries, and highlights included The Stage, an international trend forum; the Pure Talents Contest 2019, a showcase for projects by 26 new designers; and Das Haus, a simulation of a residential house designed by studio Truly Truly around the concept “Living by Moods”.
The IMM show returns from January13-19 2020.
